其中最令人訝異的是，人無形中散發的氣味，竟然可以讓人忽視外貌帶給人的印象，產生「致命的 吸引力」。
女人喜歡某種男人體味的可能原因有二，一其正處生殖期。即排卵期第一或第二天。討厭男性體會的感覺減少了。其次可能是她的MHC即免疫基因可能與此男性很相配。此男的MHC必須與她們的非常不一樣。

某些氣味會讓我們瘋狂，並提高性行為發生的可能。男人的頂泌腺分分泌男性酯酮。集中在有體毛的部位。女性對一般男性酯酮會厭惡。男性酯酮一開始聞起 來可能像是射香，然後會變成類似尿液的味道。女性月經週期的某個時間點，女性並不覺得嗆鼻的男性酯酮倒胃口。而且會喜歡。一般為排卵期。所以，對男人來 說，男性酯酮是有效的求偶雷達，能趕走女人。除非她們可以受孕。但女人的性趣與男人體味之間的關係遠比此復雜。男人汗腺分泌的鹹水會與頂泌腺的男性酯酮混 一起合力培養皮膚上的細菌。由此讓每個男人都有獨特的體味。從而吸引女人。

體味與人體免疫系統相關。世界上很少有味道相同的人，這是因為每個人的免疫系統能夠容忍停留在身上的細菌不同，而這些留在身上的細菌便是每個人獨一無二的氣味的來源。

人們喜歡的是與自己不一樣的體味。人從父母雙方各得一組基因。若從父母雙方得到不同的基因， 你的免疫力會優於從父母雙方得到同樣的MHC基因的人。
女性嗅覺另一個作用，即避開親戚。這種厭惡近親體味的現像是性方面的厭惡。這種性反感氣味主要是為了避免亂倫。因為血緣相近的人會有非常類似的免疫系統。近親間生出的孩子，不健康的機率高。
應付亂倫的另一套機制是，一般說來，我們不覺得跟我們長得像的臉會迷人。

the thing that kinda breaks my heart is when I need to think about it as a carrier..or..job. But basically all I am doing is a…profession, tell a real story, that I can connect to.
You can love… an illusion…like… A lot of times, when you are really loving somebody,you are loving the whole projection…what could have been, what should have been, time, and space.
If you  forget, and move on, you are left for nothing. Memory travels. Memory is always changing. So you are always longing for something else. Now what happened? What would you felt? And I think a lot of great artist created from longing.
